QNAP Emby Repository

Hi there
Is there a qnap emby repository?

I found this old thread and there was the idea to be listed on the official qnap store. But the thread is 2 years old.

Is this still the plan? Or would it be possible to create a qnap emby repository?

Hi, yes getting into the QNAP catalog is still the plan. In the meantime you can still download the builds from our website:

https://emby.media/qnap-server.html

Just wanted to let you know, that I've built an update URL until you get into the official QNAP catalog.

Heres how to use it:

1. Go to your AppCenter --> Click the Gear Icon on the top right corner
2. Click on the Tab "App Repository" and then on "Add"
3. Name: "Emby" (or any other) and URL: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/WtfJoke/EmbyQNAPRepository/main/repository.xm

After that you can go to the left and install Emby as usual.
However you wont get notified about updates, but you can always install the latest version there and it will install like you would upload the new version manually. Enjoy!
