Metadata for date added showing 1980 system time is set correct

I added some new videos to Emby server on Windows 11 and now they are not showing up at the top when sorting by date added.  These are not movies or tv shows, video files I made myself.  I checked the metadata for date added and all the new ones I added say 1979.  I checked date of the computer and it is set correct and the video file date is correct.  I tried deleting the nfo file and rescuing meta data and the new nfo file date created is incorrect too.  I am running Emby server version 4.7.9.0.  This just started today, all files I added before went correctly.

Hi, church the date created timestamp of the file. If that looks good then I would just edit the value in the metadata editor.

The problem is I added 90 files.  Also any new files still have the same issue otherwise I would just edit it.  Can you batch edit a selection of files or is it one by one?

@SanFranGuy Emby currently does not have any bulk editing.  But are you saying the items you added had creation date that corresponds to what you see?

But you could use this tool.

May need to look near the end of the topic for most recent version.

What I would really like is to understand why even yet today when I add a new video it still says added in 1980.  Where is it pulling that information from.  All the files have the correct creation and modification dates that I am adding. I am copying over the files from a Mac to the windows Emby server, but that is the way it was before this issue started.

Hi, it would come from an nfo metadata file if it have one, otherwise the date created timestamp of the file, not date modified.

Does that answer your question?

Here is a sample of the properties of the file including the date and the NFO file and you can see that the nfo file is saying it was added on 12/31/1903.  This makes it imposable to see when I sort by date added the new files that I just added.   I would really like to get this resolved.  I am running Emby on a ThinkPad t480 laptop running windows 10 with the latest updates.
