Resize Video playing on web client outside of fullscreen

i use dual screens at work and i would like to watch stuff on one screen while working on the other. activity on the other screen pulls video out of full-screen mode so the video is very small.is it possible to eith keep the video in full-screen mode or be able to re-size the non full-screen viewing window.

 

My current work around is to zoom in as much as possible.

I also find the small video in non-fullscreen mode a bit annoying. A detachable and scalable movie player would be ideal here.

I would appreciate only having a second window size option kind of like this:

 

This would be better IMO to preview a video.. I would still keep this small size (basically 3 mode; small, medium and fullscreen)

As a workaround, in Chrome browser, right click on the video and select open video in new tab.  Then drag the tab out so that it is separate from the current browser window.
