Any plans for an iPadOS Server?

Will be on a trip with an iPad Pro and a Fire TV stick.

Thought it'd be neat to serve some vids from iPad -> FireTV via Emby.

Are there plans for such a setup?
Any alternatives in the meantime?

HI, if it can run on MacOS then in theory, yes, although getting it into the store might be difficult. But you never know.

I mean to ask about official iPadOS support for Emby Server, w/o like hacking iPad.

You want to run the server on the iPad? That's what I'm saying. I'm sure technically done but getting the server through the app store review process might be difficult, so that would probably be the biggest challenge.

Yes I want to run the server on the iPad (Pro), as described in the travel situation in the op. It's more powerful than most similarly priced contemporary Windows laptops.

I wonder what the potential snag is with the review process; even professional photographers and videographers might travel with just their iPad Pro and a hub to connect SD cards these days. They edit on the tablet and would prolly make use of a feature to serve the video to hotel or host TV.

Shiet I just found yall a new market segment :)

Hi.  Could you not just use the download feature for a travel situation like that?

The FireTV stick doesn't have storage to download.

Or if you mean download on iPad, I guess packing a dock and HDMI cable might work? It might just mirror and not use the TV resolution though.

Yea you could use the download feature in our iOS app.
