No direct playback of my Live TV with microsoft store version of emby

Hi guys!

I`m used since couple of year to use the Emby Theater app in windows (version 3.0.16) and having the direct playback from my live tv stream to the app.

Now, I just have install the emby app through the Microfot windows store but it doesn`t direct play the stream. It need to transcode it. Is it normal? I wonder why it can no longer direct play the stream on a Emby Theater platform?

BTW, I tested it with my XBOX one and it is the same result, transcoding.

Hi, yes this is normal for the store app, but the desktop app should be able to direct play it. But we'll have a new windows app in the near future for both the store and desktop, and it will be able to direct play it.
