Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Andi if you made new test library with MoviesHD33 does it appear?
jan_axhell 4 Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 Yes, I could create a new TEST library and add MoviesHD33, which shows contents in UI.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Not sure then as I had no issues adding 35 folders. If get a chance I will test against movie content type.
jan_axhell 4 Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 (edited) My files are all 1080p MKV, with veeery rare cases of MP4. Also, despite the number of HDDs, this library is rather recent, I rebuilt it from scratch a few months ago scanning disk one after another to have a clean full database. jan_axhell 4 Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 UPDATE After creating the TEST library with MoviesHD33, I started scraping metadata with Scan Library Files. Since after a while it looked finished, but many covers were missing, I clicked the 3 dots of TEST library and chose Refresh Metadata/Search for Missing metadata. At this point a percentage circle appeared in both Movies and TEST library and when I checked Movies, the MoviesHD33 appeared. It's visible and accessible now. I will let it finish scan, then remove TEST library and see what happens to main Movies library.
jan_axhell 4 Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 Ok, after scan I have removed TEST library, restarted EMBY and MoviesHD33 was still available in Movies library, but empty. I had to rescan it, but since I had saved all metadata in media folders, it took less time and got everything right. So it's been some kind of hiccup that's been solved with this unintentional workaround. The reason remains unknown, but at least I know how to fix it should it happen again. Thanks for the suggestions. 1 1
