About missing episodes - ES 4780

Hi,
I didn't check the boxes in the series libraries and also in the users, so that the episodes were missing or not shown, but I started using them.
So I tagged and double-processed new traces of the libraries.
I've found that only a few TV series are showing the missing and unaired episodes, but for the rest, no.
Image 1 is of a series with fantante episodes being shown.
Image 2 is from The Walking Dead, season 11, in which episodes above 21 are not shown. These are episodes already released and not released yet.
Could it be something I missed or don't know about?
Thanks in advance.

Make sure tvdb is the highest priority fetcher on the library. Try refreshing the metadata on the series.

Hi, thanks for replying.
Yes, I had some series libraries with TVDB as the second priority. Now I adjusted so that all the libraries are with TVDB and I retraced the trace twice in the series, in the libraries and finally in general.
Nothing changed. Future episodes are not shown.

Every episode in the series must have a season and episode number assigned in emby server, and it's not supported on series configured for dvd or absolute order.

Got it, I have 3,000 sets, I use ES for eight years and I use the usual pattern.

I thought of something I use in series settings.
I leave that box tick that says "Block...."
Can this stop Emby from tracking future episodes?

Edit:
It's just that I saw the coincidence that the series that shows future episodes is not blocked.

In the Series or in the Season we have this blocking option to not change the data in the tracking.
I unchecked here in TWD, did a new screening and nothing changed.

Lock this item to prevent future changes

What option exactly is that? Please supply full screenshots rather than snippets so that we can tell what screen you're on. Thanks.

I'm convinced it only works with new series added.
The series that were already in the libraries, no.

I believe my suspicion has been confirmed.
It could be something else but I added a new series including just one episode and it tracked perfect.
So I really believe that the series I already had in the libraries don't add future episodes.

Any tips on how I can get the missing and upcoming episodes on my old series?

I'm not sure, this is my least favorite feature. We should have never added it :)

Maybe try removing that whole series, scanning all libraries to clean out the database, and then adding them back.

Got it, but this is an impossible solution for me. I have more than 3 thousand tv series. It would take months and perhaps years to complete this task.
I didn't use this feature but now I see it as interesting.
Thanks

This requires user setting to see today's missing and all future episode that have already gotten metadata via Upcoming.

Previous missing requires library setting to be enable and user setting.

If it is not working, it is metadata related.  And of course, requires TVDB metadata.

You could test deleting the TVDB cache folder and allowing it to rebuild.  Or test on one specific TVDB id folder.

I think this might solve it.
Can you point the way to the stones?
Thanks

@CarlosLima You can see Cach path via Dashboard-three dot menu-View Server Info or the top section of a server log.

Should I exclude all subfolders represented by numbers that are inside this folder?
Or just delete the data inside each folder with the numbers.

@CarlosLima If you want to test, pick a specific TVDB Series id folder and delete it and do a library scan or just delete them all and scan.  You can delete entire folder or select each subfolder and delete it does not matter.

I understood. I'm going to delete general and do a new general screening. I'll be back with new feedback here.
Thank you so much again.

I believe your guidance to delete the TVDB cache may have resolved the issue as The Walking Dead series didn't show future episodes and now it does, although I've seen others that didn't show future episodes.  I'm going to do four or five more general screenings to see if I get them all right.  Thank you and I believe the path was right.

I repeated the general screening four times.  Only a few series air future episodes but many of them do not.  Since a long time ago I didn't have tvdb in priority.  Could this be the reason?  Should you delete the cache of other trackers as well?  Thanks.

TVDB should just have to be enabled as they are the only provider for Upcoming as we get the entire series metadata.  So deleting other provider cache will not do anything here.

Can you go over a couple examples of Series you are expecting Unaired to appear on so I can test.

But you can open the TVDB id folder for a specific Show and open the json will need to beautify it to make display it better and see if it has the episode you expect to see.

I understood.  Here they are all as displayed.

I didn't understand. Does this link have anything to do with the topic?
