no compatible streams available

I've been running emby for a couple of years. All of a sudden some of my users are reporting Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact......"

the attached ffmpeg log is from a user trying to stream that encountered the error. This message might stand out:

"Consider increasing the value for the 'analyzeduration' (0) and 'probesize' (5000000) options"

 

All srt files and video files have chmod 755 permissions

just noticed this:

10:53:04.710 Error writing trailer of /temp/transcoding-temp/DAE693/DAE693_%d.ts: No space left on device

 

I think thats the problem. U can close this topic

that fixed the problem for all but 1 user that still gets the same error from his android phone using the emby app.

here are the logs that were generated when tried through android chrome. No logs were generated when attempted to play through emby android app

 

 

p.s. can you please delete the logs I attached in my first post? They contain some server info I'd rather not have public. Thanks @Luke

@Luke It looks like users that pay for emby don't get any support. I should have went with jellyfin.

 

@GrimReaper Please delete the logs in my second post as well. Thank you.

Hi, you had only posted this yesterday. Please allow us a little time to look into it. I apologize that we were not quick enough to respond. 

The transcoding log does actually get pretty far. Does the error happen immediately when pressing play, or sometime during playback?

after about 5 seconds pops up with that error i posted above.

@knsdiuah are you still having an issue with this? Have you updated to Emby Server 4.7.11?

I updated and not only does he still have this issue with his phone but now he has the same issue from his xbox.
