ebr 16169 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 There actually is no new player - just a pretty interface applied to the old WMC playback engine. MBT is a completely custom player in itself including custom codecs. Once all the kinks involved in writing something like that are completely ironed out, I'm sure it will be superior to the 10-yr old one we're using in MBC in every way.
