Coscast 0 Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Hi i added a few scheduled tasks @ 00:00h daily. My server wakes via bios @ 00:01h. The scheduled tasks do not get executed. My Question now: You can set a timelimit with the scheduled tasks. Lets say start at 00:00h, timelimit 3 hours. Doesn't it get executed if the server isn't powered on at exactly at 00:00h or before ? My understanding is that those tasks work in a timeframe. in my case from 00:00h to 03:00h, no matter when the server is turned on in this frame. Doesn't it work like this? In Plex it does work like this.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 (edited) No it is not a timeframe/window, it is how long the task can run if needed and will stop once it reaches its limit even if not finished. So why not change the task to 00:15? Or possibly Interval instead of Daily. Edited October 30, 2022 by Happy2Play
