Pre roll codec glitch?

On windows server 4.7.8.0 using latest android mobile app after showing the codec pre roll, emby briefly shows the background of the movie before continuing to actually playing the movie itself.

Is this an error or is there a solution?

I gave it a try as well. The problem is that right after the pre roll is finished, Emby shows the movie background and then starts to play the movie.

It should start to play the movie without showing the background first as an "inbetween step".

Update; i tried it on a tv running Android TV and then it does not show the background and goes straight to the movie.

If you play without a preroll, how does that compare?

The background is not really a glitch it's just something that gets displayed between videos.

I really dont know how to make this more simple than it already is.

Emby pro Android: 3.2.82 (Long background) = starts 6,8 seconds

Emby pro Android: 3.1.73 (Faster) = starts 2,7 seconds

Emby pro Android: 3.2.89 (Faster) = starts 3 second...

I have an older android 7.0 tablet and it starts very slowly up to 11 seconds..I do not know why
My newer tablet and mobile and it goes faster within 3 seconds

I have to warn you that if you have an older android, there will be a problem because of the CODEC
