is it possible for the next Updates to activate Theme Videos in the Background like in the Browser APP???

Another Question: In the iOS App, the Theme Videos play in Fullscreen and not in the Background! is it possible to playback as Wallpaper like in the Webapp??

Sorry for the late answer!

I sideloaded the app!

 

Tested on FireTV Stick 4K Max and Philips Android TV

• App works fine, no problems so far
• theme videos work very well.
• Only the start icon on Firetv is not as nice as the other one. (see Photo)
• Please put the app in the Official FireTV Store.

On Philips Android TV, the app only close with the return button on the Remote and then go to exit. The TV Button on the Remote is blocked by the app.

How about that "home" button?

I'm not sure how we would block the "TV" button.  I would think that would never even get to us.

The button is blocked because the app cannot be pushed to the background like the Official Android TV App.

 

Please enable the theme videos in the official Android TV app!

The Sideloaded app can only closed by press return an go Exit in the App. The official App on Android TV can closed by press the Home or TV Button.

 

After Work i make a video.

The app runs in Background in the Right Buttom on the Homescreen.

 

The official app closes automatically when I press the home button and does not run in the background.   

 

 

The TV button does the same thing as the home button. The only difference is that the TV button ends the app or puts it in the background and switches on local television. But that doesn't work because the app is forced to run in the foreground

 

I wouldn't care, just explain to my wife that she always has to press Back and then Exit the App. It's just too

stressful for me! xD

Hi.  What exactly doesn't work in this scenario?  The TV app actually will run in the background when you press home too.

no, the Tv app can not start because the sideloaded Emby app is forced to foreground. I don't know how else to explain it
