Exclude a folder from an external player

Is there a way or is it possible to exclude a specific folder from an external player?

  Currently I have been using MPC-HC through MBC to play all my movie content (currently most of my movies are in .MP4 format). Recently when I go to watch a trailer through the trailers channel in MBC it plays with the external player, seems the trailers are in .MP4 format. The trailers play fine it just takes a bit for the external player to load and I would prefer it to just play the trailers through the WMC internal player. So that is why I am asking if there is a way to exclude an entire folder(or channel for that matter) from an external player?

No, not at this time.  External player selection is based on type only.

 

Why do you use MPC-HC for the other items?

Most of my movies are DVD's converted to .MP4 format. So by using MPC-HC with madVR and reclock I get fantastic picture quality and sound for my projector display in my theater room.

That setup seems a little overkill for a streaming trailer selection.

It is really not a problem I was just curious if I could exclude a folder or channel.
