Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Only rogue issue that happens to some is Transcode-temp not always cleaned up so a restart is required to clear the folder. But some have created scripts to do it. But normally nothing needs to be done unless you are experiencing a specific issue.

What would be the script to restart server? sudo service emby-server restart ? Wait, that would require Auth.....cron root would work, right? sudo crontab -e Edited October 27, 2022 by EODCrafter

Testing this in Windows, restart or stopping the service appears to kill the session looking at the log unless that is just do to NSSM.
Luke 42078 Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 We do use a mechanism with the. Net runtime to get notified of being requested to close by the OS, but it may not work like that on all platforms.

How many Streams do you have available? Do they allow you to "share" your Streams with other people? Numerous times on my IPTV, it freezes up and I have to reload the channel. Just the nature of IPTV I'm afraid. Might also check if Transcoding Temp is filling your hard drive on the server. I've seen this also. We have made a request to @Luketo be able to disable transcode temp file but it hasn't been implemented yet. Edited October 29, 2022 by EODCrafter
elche27 3 Posted October 29, 2022 Author Posted October 29, 2022 Thank Mr EOD 4 ur answer All channels go freeze so i must restart emby server, in my previous comment i attached a hardware log, i think this generate when the error come out. No iptv channel or sharing, Due to the requirements for that type of infrastructure i need, I have not chosen it yet, apart from my pocket or my country is not yet ready to carry it out just normal lifetv from dvbs network to tvbox emby app Infraestructure Poweredge R550 server with 96 GB ram TVheadend 4.2.8 TBS6909 with 2 of 4 transponder working 103 channels and most EPG workings 4 network DVB-S2 EMBY 4.7.8 - PREMIERE LIFETIME tvheadend plugging as source of some channels / M3U8 source as source of some channels Users networks is over Fiber optic TIPS: emby and tvheadend are on the same server, no dockers! 1
