External HDD connection problem where there was none before

I have emby on my main computer and I set up emby on my old computer when I had an issue with my main and had to wait for parts. Connected one of my external HDDs and watched some movies/series w emby, worked fine. Now when I try to use that external hdd with emby on my main computer again it works fine via the browser, but on the lg app any movies loaded from that hdd just spins forever while any movie from the other hdd's loads fine. I'm clueless where to begin with this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I discovered it only struggled to play when a movie was set to play with subtitles.

HI, can you please try re-attaching the emby server log? I'm unable to download that attachment for some reason.

I removed it as the only fix I needed was to play without subtitles. I mainly watch movies without subtitles so I don't mind. I thought it was a little weird, but its fine
