TheSnowFury 0 Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Hi Emby, Recently moved over to you from Plex and have been setting up my devices. I use Hisense Roku TV's throughout my home running off a QNAP server. Everything works absolultely fine but I noticed when using my laptop and iPad, when a TV episode is finishing a dialog box pops up allowing you to skip to the next episode. This doesn't appear on the Roku app though, is it supposed to?
Solution ebr 16449 Posted October 24, 2022 Solution Posted October 24, 2022 Hi. The next episode will automatically play (if set to) and you can skip with the button on the OSD but the preview panel at the end isn't implemented in this app yet. 1
TheSnowFury 0 Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 Thanks for the prompt reply, no problem at all, it does skip once the credits have played, I just wanted to check I hadn't missed anything.
Waffull 3 Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Any plans for when the skip credits option will be implemented in the Roku app? Thanks.

The Emby app for Samsung TV does popup an option to skip to the next episode when it detects the credits have started. But that doesn't happen on the Roku app. I had been under the impression that the functionality was dependent on the app... I guess I was mistaken. So the question is how do achieve the functionality available via the web interface and the Samsung App, for Roku? Just to be clear, automatically going to the next episode works, that's not what I'm referring to. And I'm not asking that the credits be skipped automatically. Just that the existing functionality seen in other apps/viewing methods, be made available for Roku users. I have recently installed the EmbyCredit plugin in hopes the Roku app would see those markers, not surprisingly, it doesn't, lol. Is there a way to use all the data EmbyCredit creates to have the option to skip the credits in the Roku app? Thank you.
ebr 16449 Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Okay, yes, some of the apps will see that credit marker and react even though there is no core method of creating those. The Roku does not yet.
