Film Sammlung einrichten??

Hallo zusammen,

ich wollte meine Filme bei Emby das er Automatisch erkennt lass ob die Filme zusammen gehören als Sammlung aber ich lese immer es geht nicht mehr.

Warum geht es das nicht mehr??

Vorher könnte ich das machen hat er automatisch erkannt.

meine Emby Versiopn ist 4.7.8.0

Also ich bekomme nicht hin das auf der Startseite Sammlung steht und wenn es Film Reihen sind da anzuzeigen. Was macht man da denn falsch oder fehlt da was an Plugin???

But Collections come from Item metadata now so you may have to ensure your media is unlocked and refresh all metadata.

I am just setting up the server on a new NVIDIA shield and I am searching since half an hour where to activate „collections“. This setting does not exist in the libraries settings.

Please advise.

It is a current bug in 4.8.7.0 in the web client, can you try a different client.  It will be resolved in next release.

What a bug!!  

Even when I use a different client, I can not get what I want: "Collections" are still missing in the main menu and only shown in the "movie" submenu. See attachment: no collection shown.

Also in the libraries, "collections" is NOT shown!

Sorry the Collections library via My Media it totally different issue and totally unrelated to this topic (I guess it could be from a metadata standpoint).  But what server version are you as it was removed in new installs of 4.8?  But don't remember if it has been ported to a maintenance release or not yet as it doesn't appear in release notes for 4.8.x.x.

The most resent non-beta server on shield as well as on Synology dsm 7.2. On my Synology server, the collections show up in „my media“. Unfortunately, this is not the case for shield server. This seems to be a server-side bug.

The library setting yes the Collections library no is not a bug as it the library was removed in new installs.  So if that is not the case you need to explain more on specific issues as your image applies to library not shown in My Media.

1) New install and is not being created per current design

2) Or metadata does not exist to create the library per library setting.

3) Library is hidden per user setting on Home Screen settings

I am not 10ö% sure what you mean. On ma shield, I did a new installation from scratch. The collections are not shown in my media. Collections are shows in the left-side menu as well as under „movies“. But that’s not what I need. Collections are not shown on Home Screen, that’s the problem.

And as mention it was a design decision to Remove Collections/not create the library in 4.8 that has changed  but don't believe it has been ported to a maintence release and you have to manually add library back via the api as shown in the link I attached or change to Beta cycle or wait until it is ported into current stable cycle.

Hi, please try creating a new collection.

I left the server running over nicht and now the collections are part of the library.
