adavis219 21 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 (edited) I’ve looked all over trying to figure this out but I can’t seem to figure out why when I fast forwards or backwards, the images shown above previewing what I’m watching isn’t timed correctly. It shows one thing in said image but when skipping to that part, it plays it sometimes minutes off from where it should be. I’m stumped on this one. Edited October 23, 2022 by adavis219 Added photo

I have remuxed media and see this. But most of the time the image is within the 10 seconds interval if properly encoded.

Any idea how to correct this? Think it depends on the issue. If a mkv you may get away with just remuxing with mkvtoolnix.
adavis219 21 Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 Deleting the .bif file and getting a fresh one seemed to help slightly for some I tested. Not all of them were perfect, though. Not quite sure what's causing it.
