Strange network issue

Recently the ISP supplied router died. Spectrum replaced it straight away. Ever since then I can't ping nor log into my switch.
I still have internet connectivity, and everything on my network is functioning properly. I just cannot log into my switch. It simply times out.
If it helps, the old router/modem was all one unit and I logged into it to forward ports and that stuff with the usual gateway IP address(198.162.0.1). This device plugged into my managed switch and BANG everything works and Emby can see the world.
Now I have a separate modem and router. The modem connects to the router via a yellow RJ45 cable. The router connects to the my switch with the normal cat6a. The router has a different gateway IP address ( 198.162.1.1) You can't log into this set up with a browser. You do all your management like port forwarding and reserving IP addresses with an app on your smartphone. This app will show me all the IP addresses of everything on my network EXCEPT my switch. It will show me the mac address of my switch but not the ip address. I suspect my problem is my switch has a static IP address I assigned (as opposed to a dhcp one from spectrum)when I set up the switch. but cannot confirm this is the reason.
Has anyone else had this problem. My emby server can still see the outside world and everything on my network has proper connectivity. I just cannot make any changes on my switch.

192.168.x.x is likely the local switch IP ... not 198.162.x.x ...

Yep I fat fingered my post.  good catch. 192.168.x.x still times out.

I suspect I will have to hard reset my switch and start from scratch. I have dig and find what the default ip address was though. It has long been changed.

Just look for the MAC address on the switch (printed on it hopefully) and then look in the DHCP tables on the router to find it's IP address.

I figured out my problem.  My new router/modem combo is on a different subnet than the old outgoing one.  I all I had to do is assign an extra network port I wasn't using an IP address on the same subnet as my switch and problem solved.

Thanks for the feedback.
