hooj1981 5 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Hi. I've recently installed MediaBrowser coming from an XBMC only environment. I love the server and the ability to control my library via a web browser. One problem that I am encountering is corrupt images when viewed via MediaBrowser in a web browser (any), Android app and Theatre. I am saving my artwork/images locally on my server and when viewing the same items through Windows they are not corrupt. I have seen another thread that blames AV, but I have already disabled Symantec Endpoint that is running on my server and performed a full rescan. Any ideas? Is there a cache that the apps use that needs to be purged? Thanks Matt
Guest Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) I have a similiar Problem on some of my music / album art pictures. When i look at them via Itunes or XBMC everything seem ok. But in the Media Browser Web Client they are broken have green lines...weird :/ I tried alread an advanced refresh of the music section with the option to replace the existent pictures, bu that doesn't helped Edited October 9, 2014 by CM000n
ebr 16184 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Yes, images are cached. As a test, with your anti-virus turned off, force new images for one of the affected items to re-download (refresh with the replace images option). If that clears it up then you will want to do that for each main folder that is having this problem.

hooj1981 5 Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Nope, makes no difference. Images are still corrupted Same for me also. I only have 1 main folder and doing a refresh with AV off and replacing existing images doesn't resolve the issue. Neither does refreshing an individual movie.
ebr 16184 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Do they appear the same in any other client app?
hooj1981 5 Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Do they appear the same in any other client app? I've tested with the Android app and it happens there too.
ebr 16184 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Make sure Windows and .net are completely up to date.
Guest Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Sry, I don't use any other MB Client Apps. I just use the Server. But on other clients, as mentioned above, like XBMC, ITunes, my MP3 Tag Editor or my PC's in general the images are shown normal Edited October 9, 2014 by CM000n
