slaver666 6 Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Hello. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Emby 4.7.6 default view "Folders" works fine. Emby 4.8.0 (as well as 4.8.0.12 beta) default view appears as "Movies" but not "Folders". When I downgrade from 4.8.0 to 4.7.6 everything looks correct again. Any suggestions? Thanks.

slaver666 6 Posted October 27, 2022 Author Posted October 27, 2022 I see the version 2.0.83g in Play Market. It's very strange that my TVs didn't see Emby app updates when I start this post at October 16. Now I see the October 10 Emby app update in Play Market. I'm going to try this one and reply.

I even cleaned Emby TV app cache but the default view appeared as Videos but not Folders. For example my Brave browser's default view is correct with both 4.7.6 and 4.7.8 versions. Now I've downgraded server to 4.7.6 and everything looks great again on my Android TV.

But this version of Emby app didn't work as Play Market app. I've just tried to resume one of my videos and received the message that I need Emby Premiere for this component. I don't need any Premiere functions. I bought the Emby app from Play Market and it's enough for me.

Sometime at the very beginning of the file, sometime in the middle. I don't use transcoding. My TV is connected to the Emby server via LAN. Edited November 6, 2022 by slaver666

slaver666 6 Posted December 14, 2022 Author Posted December 14, 2022 Yes. I've tried latest beta and stable releases. Same issue. Only standard android app shows Folder View by default. Play Market app still shows Videos View by default.
