So I recently rooted 5 firesticks for my house and I was wondering if anyone here knows of a way to synce emby live tv to firestick live tv? I noticed Plex is able to do it. But I wanted all the channels I have instead of a lower amount that plex does

Hi, what exactly do you mean by sync?

so  on Firesticks it has a live TV tab you can sync channels to with sources like Freevee, amazon live TV etc if you go to settings and live TV it lets you select places to sync with and I noticed Plex is able to sync it's channels to it however, Emby wasn't. it's not big deal I was going to pull the plex app and see how they're doing it.

Are you sure Plex syncs those and not just their Internet channels?

I do think it is the internet channels. I realized that after looking into it more. I forget Plex does that live TV through them. I haven't used Plex in a long time. its mainly there for looks. lol

Yea last time we looked they weren't using it for personal live tv, only their internet channels.

Yea, Has anyone looked into actually doing a plugin for it? I'll probably just remap the button on the remote for now. It would be nice to have something like that done for family who has no idea what todo lol

I think the support would have to be built into our app. A server-side plugin isn't going to do it.

Yea I figured that. I'll have some free time this weekend I wanna pull the code and see if there's a simple way to put it together. I'm not to big on coding C# however I can do some python though. lol Shall Be fun to toy with though
