ASW 2 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Hello, I have the latest Emby server installed on FreeBSD (TrueNAS). Now, with NextPVR, I can watch live TV, no problems. It's the recording that's stumped me, I cannot get that function to work. Inside Emby, I've set the recording folder to my NAS share //192.168.50.100/Movies/NextPVR/Recordings and I see files being created with 0 KB - Any ideas?
emveepee 132 Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 You need to provide the required support logs for Emby. Martin

ASW 2 Posted October 15, 2022 Author Posted October 15, 2022 I am thinking this is what you need. embyserver-63801341855.txt
emveepee 132 Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 (edited) I don't know about your NAS but typically Linux file systems don't support UNC paths like Windows does. Emby seems to be trying to remap it to the file system but it shows Access to the path '/WALENTANAS/Movies/NextPVR/Recordings/T.J. Hooker (1982)/Season 2' is denied. Solution ASW 2 Posted October 16, 2022 Author Solution Posted October 16, 2022 Ok, it is some of the learning curve or my ignorance it seems. I was quite literally trying to tell Emby to dump the recordings in the server NAS share via a direct windows smb share. It did not like this. So I created a mount to point to the internal Emby Jail /mnt directory. Now it's finally working. 1
