Create custom tv series in emby

Is there any way to get emby to find/acknowledge a custom tv series that is not a real tv series?

For example im trying to add all the walking dead webisodes into their own listing in emby, i have created a folder titled The Walking Dead Webisodes, and inside that folder have all the webisode series joined together for each one respectively (ie all torn apart episodes joined into one total episode) leaving me with 8 total episodes. They have been named "The Walking Dead Webisodes - S01E01 - Torn Apart" etc for all 8 episodes (each episode has their own name) . But when i scan for new files nothing shows up not even a blank show tile with just the folder name. I know ill have to add all the metadata and images myself , which i already have but i just cant get it to populate inside emby server.  I was half tempted to name the folder something else that i dont have and wont ever add (ie talking dead), and then customize the metadata and images myself and then lock it so nothing changes, though id rather just be able to get the custom series to popualte naturally, as in the series tile and then the episodes with their names.

Everytime i try it adds the first two episodes to season one of the walking dead, as there are only 6 episodes in that season, and it populates episodes 7 and 8 from my webisode folder and adds them to season one and completely leaves out eps 1-6. I know i can rename them as s00 and add them as specials in the walking dead but i would much prefer their own listing.

My question to you is why would you want to do this. They Are listed as special episodes on any of the meta data sites, such as the tv database. If you named with the proper season episode numbers (example S00E01) and place them in the specials folder the metadata scrapers would do the rest for you. go to

https://thetvdb.com/

to get the proper season and episode numbers for each episode.

Do you mean One Piece?  There have been several topics in the forum where getting the best results for this were discussed.

No no One pace

basically people "remade" it, by removing all the fillers, all the flashback/previously from litteraly the previous episode, it cuts the number of episodes in half,

but this isn't a real tv show so it doesn't exist in Tv DB

Right now it's named main directory One Pace

Then sub directory for each "arc"

[One Pace][1-7] Romance Dawn [1080p]

[One Pace][8-21] Orange Town [1080p]

So i have the name of the TV show, the Chapters of the manga it covers and then the name of the arc as well as the quality (they are currently upgrading from 720p to 1080p)

I'm guessing the arc naming and chapters are causing issues

I might try season One season 2 etc but I would have liked to keep the arc naming if possible, right now it's identifiying each arc as a separate TV show

Yeah in the end I gave up and did the traditionnal Emby naming, so I won't have the chapter number etc, i also had to manually change 300 episodes names, but at least it works....

(normal behaviour I can't expect emby to recognize this)
