Server fails to start after updates

I hope everyone is well.  When the emby server updates it fails to start.  The application is configured as a service.  Often I have to download the setup files and run them again to get it to start.  The logs are attached.  Thanks for all your help.

Hi, I notice that your windows service command line is wrong:

Command line: C:\Users\Emby2\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll -server

the param should be:

-service

not 

-server

That could be contributing to the issue because the server might be trying to do things that are inappropriate in the context of a windows service.

So a couple things to try would be:

• Correcting that
• And/or running as a regular windows application with the tray icon (just as a test to see how that compares).

How did you originally setup your windows background service? You may need to redo that part. That's not provided by Emby. If it helps, these are our instructions on how to setup a windows service:

It's possible you did it that way, but you may have set it up using some other method.
