ET Live TV - Not Showing Guide data when selected

I have the option to show guide data in the Home Screen options for the App.

On the Web UI, when i click on Live TV Library i get exactly that

However in the ET App i get a heap of categories and not the Guide, so I have to navigate to the guide menu to get to it.

 

I'm gonna try the Vertical layout.  Right so Vertical layout honours this

Looks like Horizontal Layout needs some loving. if that option is enabled surely you can just use the vertical layout to display that in Horizontal View.

Anyways, it's bugged me for years and thought i would air the bug now LOL!!

 

I suspect the guide is actually triggered because in Vertical View, you physically have to click on the library to enter it, which loads a full UI Page and components. Where as Horizontal is just updating a fragment on the screen.

Exactly. If you want all of your home screen options to be utilized, then you'll need to use the vertical home screen. For now at least.
