wsxws 8 Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 After updating my system (i really regret that i did that) LiveTV does not work on the most of the TV channels anymore. The behavior is different from client to client and it seems to be a transcoding problem. Find a serverlog enclosed. embyserver.vuplus.txt
wsxws 8 Posted October 5, 2022 Author Posted October 5, 2022 you got the log black screen no stream no picture / no sound
Luke 42078 Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Please attach the ffmpeg log as well. Thanks.

wsxws 8 Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 Sorry to disturb. the reason for me to buy the license was the ability to watch tv on emby. do you have any clue when this might become fixed ?
Luke 42078 Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Hi, if you'd like to try the beta server ,there's a good chance that will help with this.
wsxws 8 Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) i did not use the beta in the first place to avoid situations like this obviously i have to do now though i do not have much time atm, but ill test as soon as possible and let you know Edited October 25, 2022 by wsxws 1
Mane123 0 Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Same issue here, updated to Beta and is working now. Is there any way to prevent Emby from updating? As I only want to use this single feature and looks like emby is kinda unstable software, I really want to just stay in this version.
Mane123 0 Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Ok, seems like it was a coincidence. Not working for me. Server has 20Mbit/s permanent downstream, Client peaks of downstream of 20Mbit/S as well, but no sound, no video, all black with a blue circle circling. Will take my money back via PayPal as I do not have the time for troubleshooting.
softworkz 5066 Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 TVnext will support VU+ as a native (remote) tuner. 1
Luke 42078 Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Hi, are you able to try the beta server and see how that compares? Thanks.
wsxws 8 Posted November 13, 2022 Author Posted November 13, 2022 (edited) updet to the newest beta 4.8.0.16 all channels except one are working non working channel is one major german channel: Das Erste HD (Astra 19,2 East) Log-Files attached. There is one other (smaler) bug: picons of streaming-channels arent shown in the LiveTV-plugin (they are shown on the VU itself) Servicenames only differ at the end. #SERVICE 1:0:19:1234:456:1:C00000:0:0:0: <- normal channel, picon shown (file 1_0_19_1234_456_1_C00000_0_0_0.png) #SERVICE 1:0:19:1234:456:1:21:0:0:0 <- streaming channel, picon not shown (file 1_0_19_1234_456_1_21_0_0_0.png) regards Remark: there is a difference in behavior depending on the image you use on the VU+.
