emby not scanning new movies

Hello.

 

For some time Emby has not scnned my newly added movies.

 

It adds the TV shows fine.

 

So far, I have had a friend review the logs and we found nothing.

 

So we moved all of the movies out of the folder and then added a new movie to the now empty folder through my usual process and that worked fine.

 

So we proceeded to add the movies back in to the folder in batchs of 10.

 

We were able to add all the movies aback in porgressively and see Emby identify and display them.

 

Once this porcess was complete, we attempted to add a new movie, and the problem occurred again.

 

The movie does not appear, seemingly Emby cannot scan for new movies.

 

We are using Emby Server 4.6.0.50 on the raspberry Pi on the LibreElec system.

 

Ive attached some recent logs, with the most recent ones when we added the latest movie.

in the library settings, have you checked real time monitoring?

Go to settings -> Library -> Click on the the Library you want to check, and right under the Language settings you see:

Hi, did you try running a library scan? And are you able to update to Emby Server 4.7.8?

@Roodee Yes it is checked as log shows librarymonitor watching and stopping as it sees change.

But per the log their library issues on each new movie.

 System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path ---------------------------------------------

But with this being such an old version (May 19, 2021) it will/could be hard to provide support.

Hi Luke. I'm assisting my friend with this.

 

We attempted to upgrade to 4.7.8 but the emby server would not start.

 

I'm thinking for the libreelec op system, there may be some sort of XML code somewhere that looks for the version, and in this it looks for a version 4.6.xx as we seem to have trouble going past 4.6 (as in the time since we started this thread we have managed to update to the highest 4.6 version successfully).

 

Any thoughts on that ??

And yes we completed library scans.

The weird thing is we remove the movies, then added back in batches of 10 and all seem to add fine. But once all in there, new movies are not found and library scan seems to not be working.

 

When the folder was empty, we added a new movie to test before we started batch adding the old movies, and this worked so that made me think it was a movie in the folder that was causing the library scan / real time scanning to fail, however they all went back in and appeared in emby once we completed the batch adding. 

Ide love to be able to update to latest version, but again I can't get emby server to start.

No I get this page cannot be displayed when I attempt to access...

It should also be noted, we created a 2nd movies folder and scanning and identifying of newly added movies is working fine on that one...

Get the 404 error on the webpage. As though the server is offline or cannot be accessed

So this is on libreelec? Is any emby server log file generated?
