Easy way to make movie thumb images?

I prefer to display my movies with the thumb image rather than the poster on the roku app, unfortunately not all of my movies have thumb images. Is there an easy way to generate them from movie posters? I know I can manually use photoshop or something, but I was thinking there may be an easier way.

Have a look at fanart.tv website.

 

They have a huge amount of images on there.If it is not there I use photoshop.

I discovered that if I can't find a thumb anywhere, simply copying one of the backdrops and naming it thumb.jpg etc works a treat. Of course without photoshop, you won't see the movie title/logo on it but at least you have one.
