pve78 3 Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Hi everyone- I'm trying to determine the best performance set up for a light Emby use. I will be using it to stream videos from Emby to a Roku via ethernet. Two options I am considering: Set up Emby in Docker on my Portainer VM Host the data in the Portainer VM and configure Emby to use that. Set up Emby in Docker on my Portainer VM Set up a NFS share from my TrueNAS VM to the Portainer VM and stream that way Set up Emby in TrueNAS via their plugin system and host the data on the TrueNAS storage pool Performance wise, option wise, what's the best in your opinion?
Luke 42078 Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Hi, my gut tells me these will all be similar. I think you may just want to try them and compare.
