LinkDarkshire 0 Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Hy I switched from Plex to Emby because Plex stopped working for me so I tried Emby. Everything works so far for me only one thing bothers me. I have a bibiliotek for my series and I have 3 series that I have divided into their arcs because of their size. Currently the subdivision is like this X:/series/[any series]/Arc/Episode X Now the single acrs are listed in the overview and not the series itself although they all share the same ID and I have enabled merging. Do I have to change anything in the structure ? Thanks in advance.
Luke 42077 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Hi there, I don't quite follow. Can you show an exact example of how your files are named and organized, and then show a screenshot of what you see in emby server? Thanks !
LinkDarkshire 0 Posted September 27, 2022 Author Posted September 27, 2022 (edited) Hi, an example would be X:\Anime\Serien\BLEACH\1. Agent of the Shinigami arc\Bleach XX.mkv X:\Anime\Serien\BLEACH\2. Soul Society; The Sneak Entry arc\Bleach XX.mkv I just split them acording to the story Arcs becouse 366 Episodes in one folder is a bit ugly. But every Arc is now handeld as an series itself. I renamed them in the libary, tried it with the same name (BLEACH) and now I tried it with same sortname gave them season numbers (but the anime has only 1 Season acording to anidb) Edited September 27, 2022 by LinkDarkshire
LinkDarkshire 0 Posted October 6, 2022 Author Posted October 6, 2022 I updated today to 4.7.8.0 but before I was on 4.7.6.0 I think.
Luke 42077 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 @LinkDarkshire I would always recommend using season folders for the best results, but I do have some good news. I don't see this issue in the 4.8 beta channel testing with the exact same file names as you, so that's a good sign that this will be resolved.
