Background Play (Screen Off)

Hi, I ran a search for an existing thread but couldn't find one.

Could we get an option to enable Emby to continue playing while the screen is off, kinda like treating video playback the same as audio playback?

This is not PiP (though I also really want this option added too).

I use this function a lot with YouTube Premium as I watch/listen to a lot of live stream VODs and being able to just listen to them like a podcast instead of having the screen on is useful when i'm doing something else and have it on in the background.

Hi, yes our android app already has this. We can look at adding the same thing to iOS. Thanks.
