binerf 2 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Hello, Since I've change internet provider, I now run Emby client on Bbox Miami (AndroidTV IPTV box connected to TV) For some videos, after a a random period, sound remains OK but image freezes. For some videos, a vertical green appears on screen and another horizontal one in the bottom of screen, and also image quality is really degraded (cf screenshot). Server version: 4.7.6.0 App logs sent around 12:44:00 UTC-5. Thanks in advance for your help ! embyserver.txt

Actually, I don't know how to install this version as Google play indicates (on their website) that this version is not compatible with my device... So I cannot install it remotely. And in Google play app from my device, Emby for Android is not available.

Hi, I'm struggling with my provider and its technical support to get information regarding the Android version this box can support. Could you confirm that Emby (for Android TV) should work on Android > 5.1 (not the kernel version but the Android version) please ? It seems that this box is running Android 8.0.0 with kernel version 4.1 (or maybe I misunderstand information on the screenshot I've attached to this post) Thank you in advance.

Well, it won't be prevented from working due to the OS version but there could be other things about this custom box that may not be compatible. You will just need to try it.
