ChewyFudge 0 Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Hey Im having some problems running the config backup, i get the following error: *** Error Report *** Version: 4.7.6.0 Command line: /usr/lib/emby-server/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/lib/emby -ffdetect /usr/bin/ffdetect-emby -ffmpeg /usr/bin/ffmpeg-emby -ffprobe /usr/bin/ffprobe-emby -restartexitcode 3 Operating system: Linux version 5.15.65-1-MANJARO (builduser@fv-az183-516) (gcc (GCC) 12.2.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.39.0) #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Sep 5 10:15:47 UTC 2022 Framework: .NET 6.0.8 OS/Process: x64/x64 Runtime: usr/share/dotnet/shared/Microsoft.NETCore.App/6.0.8/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 4 Data path: /var/lib/emby Application path: /usr/lib/emby-server System.IO.FileNotFoundException: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: backup directory not found at MBBackup.ServerEntryPoint.ExecuteBackup(BackupProfile settings, CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress`1 progress, Boolean isAuto) at MBBackup.Entities.ScheduledBackupTask.Execute(CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress`1 progress) at Emby.Server.Implementations.ScheduledTasks.ScheduledTaskWorker.ExecuteInternal(TaskOptions options) Source: MBBackup The backup folder is available at the location, i've tried multiple different drives and permissions seems to be as they should... The only thing that isnt working is the backup plugin... Can someone please have a look?
Luke 42077 Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Hi, what backup directory did you configure? Whatever it is, it looks like Emby Server does not have permission to access it.
ChewyFudge 0 Posted September 24, 2022 Author Posted September 24, 2022 I've tried an external hdd (exfat), an internal partition (ex4) and my home folder (also ext4)... If it was a permission problem, wouldnt i get an access error? fstab for the exfat drive says the following: UUID=881B-73A5 /mnt/RatHole exfat rw,uid=my_username_,gid=my_user_name 0 0 And Emby is able to write subtitles and metadata to other folders on the drive.... Or at least it used to... Looks like it stopped downloading metadata somewhere between the 19th and 24th of last month....
Luke 42077 Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 @ChewyFudge did you figure out how to set the permissions or are you still having an issue with this?
ChewyFudge 0 Posted October 1, 2022 Author Posted October 1, 2022 I did a manual backup and reinstalled as a had planned, I've still got issues on my new install though...
