Android TV app on Sony Bravia will not connect

Hello,

Today my Sony Bravia received a software update and since then I cannot log into my emby server form android TV app. The android app on my phone seems to work fine. Upon startup, the emby app gives a volley error, and my previously saved credentials are no longer there. I enter them manually, and on the server dashboard i can see authentication was successful, but the TV app does not load. I have already done a reinstall of the app and that changed nothing. Any idea what could cause this?

Exactly what does the message say?

On the manual login screen, is there a "Send Logs" button?

Yes there is a send logs button. I will do that now.

I did it at the exact moment I posted that.

Update: It worked normally this morning and logged me in. Then I closed the app and opened it again and the behavior happened again. At this moment I have sent a log.

The attempt to reach your server is timing out.  Is your server IP address 192.168.1.10:8096?

Yes it is. And there is nothing wrong with the TV's network connection as I can use my other streaming apps with no issue. Additionally, my android phone can also connect to the server without issue.

Update: It has started randomly working. Not sure what changed as I didn't make any changes. But solved for now
