tmurd87 8 Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 when streaming some channels it just boot loops never plays. while it's directly playing stream I also have streams in 720 that directly play just fine. running gtx 1660 super on proxmox with it passedthrough from main host. Also unlocked the gtx 1660 with NVENC patch removes restriction on maximum number of simultaneous NVENC video encoding sessions imposed by Nvidia to consumer-grade GPUs. NvFBC patch allows to use NvFBC on consumer-grade GPUs. It should be applied same way as NVENC patch.sh, except you have to use patch-fbc.sh instead. ffmpeg-transcode-45e1f7b3-255e-44a5-b646-1f4151bed14c_1.txt

Luke 42078 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 HI, are you sure the stream url is sending back video? It looks like ffmpeg is having trouble with it.
tmurd87 8 Posted September 20, 2022 Author Posted September 20, 2022 Yea it was I doubled check the stream via vlc app and it would play fine. I think it was a screw up after install the passthrough. I got it working though afteringstall cuda along side nvidia smi. no issues since.
tmurd87 8 Posted September 25, 2022 Author Posted September 25, 2022 I thought it was fixed however I was wrong. Streaming CBS. Also noticed changing the h264 crt around 18-28 makes the stream last longer before it stops and has to load and then it'll get hung at 33% depending what it's say to. I'll grab some more longs on and add them . 192.168.1.229_8096_emby_System_Logs_ffmpeg-directstream-ae99c0cd-2acd-48f8-b9c5-5e1805da9cb7_1.PDF
