Hi Luke, thanks for reply.

I followed your instructions, unfortunately also in this case I get the same warning from the client.

Can you please attach any ffmpeg logs that were created when you got that error?

Have you disabled transcoding?  Please attach the server log from when that error occurred and indicate at what time it was.

Thanks.

Okay, as it says in the text below that option, that can cause things to not play properly.  Please enable that option, play one of these items and then post the ffmpeg log(s) that are produced from that.

Thanks.

Were all of those logs generated from a single playback?

Hi. Are these recordings that you have converted?  They have both a closed caption track and SSA subtitles which is a strange combination.

If you don't select the closed caption track, does it play?

Yes, I personaly converted this video using Handbrake, look first post on topic.🙂

You mean the subtitle? There is two track for new dub and old dub. Maybe are this the reason to be is a strage combination?

If i select off to the subtitle tab and press play Emby crash after 10 seconds.

Have you tried this with the side-loaded standard app?

On side-loaded standard and FireTV app with subtitle tab "off" Emby played the file in trasncoding.

Is that a problem?

the problem is: I can't play these files on Emby is there a preset to respect to convert a file from h264 to h265 can be played in direct play without transcoding?  (My NAS is not performing for these tasks) Excuse me if I was not explicit enough in the request.

Thanks

That depends on the capabilities of the device  on which it is being played.  You would need to be sure you stay within those capabilities for bitrate, framerate, etc.

Did you explore the stats feature in the video player to learn why it was transcoding?
