Received a google tv 4K chromecast device.

Its runs android tv.
Should i be able to stream 4K movies?
I tried with a friends google TV on a 4K TV and that worked.
I ordered my own, and paired it with a non 4K TV, trying to play movies, it stutters...

Should it be able to play it?

You guys need the log files?

Hi.  Is the server local to the app?

Can you please play that item just until it starts to stutter and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app?

What do you mean local to the app?
Yes both server and client are on same home network

It immediately stutters when i start it, you want a new log?

The logs above are taken from the emby server. Thats not good?

If you talk about the client, tried the emby for kodi AND the emby app.. (paid for it).. both have the trouble

Hi.  The log from the app may tell us why you are seeing the behavior you are.  However, if you are also seeing it with Kodi that would imply it may be a network issue.

I'm sorry but how do i get or post the log from the app?

Since you mention network issue... i tried some other stuff.

I moved the google tv to my main TV (living room, which is 4K, acces point in room) also on same wifi -> no issue

I then moved it to a third TV (same wifi ,Acces point in that room , also 4K TV) -> no issue

I moved it back to the room/TV which has troubles (same wifi, acces point in room next to it that has the third tv) . The TV there is no 4K tv -> issues

I'm wondering if its the TV causing it.
