Stuttering video on some files

Lol see this post is old but came across this looking for answers. Mine started stuttering now recently and nothing changed. Can promise you it's definitely not my hardware. 

One issue with the comments though, unless it's some sort of a plug in, I don't want to not use emby. any ideas what might cause this in 2022

Mine does exactly the same on Windows based emby server with a Sony TV emby client. 

Any updates here how to fix?
