Emby Server wrong address

Hi all 

Having problems with Emby Server on Nvidia Shield.

Installed both the app and Server with no problems but when starting the server has an ip address which isnt on my network.

I have usual 192.168.1.? etc but the address shown on the app is 192.168.232.136.

How do I connect to setup my server??

Hi, what do you mean by "has an ip address"? Where exactly are you seeing this? Why do you think it's not on your network?

This IP address in the picture I've just uploaded.

I'm unable to find it on my network.

The IP address must be on your network because Emby Server will not just make it up.

However, if you're doing everything on the Shield then you can just connect to the server via localhost instead of the ip address. Please try that.

Unfortunately it's on an external NAS.

I have no clue of that ip

Can you post a server log after restarting Emby to show network detection.

Hi.  You just showed us the server running on the Shield.  What is on the NAS?

All my films are stored on the nas. My shield is the original 16gb shield

You can access them directly from

/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.emby.embyserver/files
