It's that time of the year again, NFL football season.  I usually start recording half hour to an hour before I start watching the game.  Using both apps, Emby for Android, and the ATV version, I am unable to fast forward.

there must be something about the video type because although i occasionally have an issue jumping forward through all the pre-game chat where it just freezes for a minute, eventually this always works fine for me. was just doing this with a UK football game last weekend

I can not remember if I had this issue last year, but I think I did.  I have to use the HDHomeRun Android application while doing that. 

You maybe correct about the video type.  Since my new Android box supports the Dolby AC4 audio codec, I can now record the HEVC channels broadcast using the ATSC 3 standard.  Hopefully that will solve that issue.
