stonedog 2 Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Android TV version of the Emby app, at the end of a TV series episode, there is a popup to skip to the next episode. If I select start now, during the last 5 seconds, the next episode does start playing but there are two sets of audio playing, out of sync by about 3-5 seconds. One for the playing video, the other for the same video but out of sync by 3-5 seconds. This only happened roughly 1 in 3 times. When stopping play back the audio continues, even after exiting the application, the audio continues. I have to force close the Emby application, only then will the audio stop, the app can be reopened and normal playback can continue. Android TV app version 2.0.79g on an Nvidia shield Server version 4.7.6.0 There are no errors messages shown on screen for this issue
ebr 16171 Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Hi. Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and see how that compares? https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Thanks.

stonedog 2 Posted September 16, 2022 Author Posted September 16, 2022 I have tried to replicate the problem several times, with both the android app and the android TV app. I have not been able to replicate the issue with either. When watching TV normally the problem does happen still with the android TV app but I am finding it hard to nail down the chain of events that seem to cause it to happen. It seems like it will only happen once the app has been open for some time, or maybe several episodes have been watched. A horrible intermittent issue.
