ng4ever 40 Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 I know your not suppose to save them but lets say you do and want to put them on Emby. Will Emby try to find media info for them or just use a screenshot from them, the video? Curious is all.
ebr 16169 Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 We have no source of metadata for YT videos. However, if you put them in a TV, Movie or Mixed content library and metadata fetchers enabled, then, yes, Emby will try to find metadata for them - with pretty horrible results I imagine.

I've heard rumors that the best approach is to configure the downloader to embed image, metadata and chapters into the downloaded video, then use a home video library where Emby will see and use the embedded metadata automatically.

Cool may work!
ng4ever 40 Posted September 18, 2022 Author Posted September 18, 2022 What is the best way to organize them on Emby as well ? If even possible ? Can I disable thumbnails or even metadata for them ? Maybe I just want to see the title name.
