Luke 42078 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Hi, did you notice this in the ffmpeg log? 21:02:03.500 /volume1/Series/Chicago Fire/Seizoen 7/Chicago.Fire.S07e08.720p.NLSubs.mp4: Permission denied This guide may help you resolve it: Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
RolyB 0 Posted September 6, 2022 Author Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) I have already checked it and Emby got full access as you can see in printscreen. Sorry it is in Dutch Other series are working and I don't understand this one isn't. Edited September 6, 2022 by RolyB
FrostByte 5392 Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Your share permissions look good. Have you checked the file/folder permissions at the system level for that series?
RolyB 0 Posted September 7, 2022 Author Posted September 7, 2022 I’m not sure what you mean? I added a extra library with specific permission for that serie but they did not work.
FrostByte 5392 Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Can you SSH to your NAS and check the file and folder permissions
SAint 1 Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 I am having the same issue. The strange thing is that my permissions are correct because some files in the season play just fine, and then a new episode drops, and it gives me the error of no compatible streams available. I then delete the file and Re download. Then it suddenly works, but may take a few download attempts. The log still states permission denied for those no work files as above I know a file won't play when it doesn't have a run time below the title. I am stumped as to how to fix this one as it's seems to be a permissions problem.
FrostByte 5392 Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Can you post a screen shot of the file permissions in a folder where you're having problems, please. If the screen shot has some files that work and some that don't that would be great. Then include a log when playing one of the files. Thanks
Solution SAint 1 Posted September 14, 2022 Solution Posted September 14, 2022 I managed to sort it out by going to each folder and resetting permissions. 1
