About the Opensubtitles plugin - ES 4750

Hi,
I'm trying to use the plugin again, because I had removed it because it made a mess with Portuguese subtitles for Brazil.
Now I intend to use it again, but I would like to see these details...
1. Is it possible to configure in the library so that this plugin never searches for subtitles in automatic mode? I just want to fetch manually, always.
2. When the video contains embedded subtitles, is it possible to make the plugin ignore subtitle searches? Ticking the box didn't work for me.
