I'm Sorry But Backup and Restore is still useless

So I got my new laptop, backed up my old server as per the wiki, installed Emby on the new one, and restored from the backup, and nothing freaking works.  From errors like "error refreshing owned items" to library scans stopping as soon as I press start because permissions aren't correct System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException::

(all drives are mapped as they were on the previous device and I can read and write to them with no issues), I am sick of this.  As I have the old server data still, I even attempted a fresh install with a manual backup as per the wiki and even more errors out the wazzoo (server loads half the page and then circle of death).

Why the F is this so freaking impossible?  Why does it NEVER EVER work for me?  Please don't ask for logs as I been fighting with this for hours and I've uninstalled and re-installed so many times trying to figure out WTF is going on (including multiple fresh installs of windows just to make sure) that I'm at the point where I'm just going to copy the old server to the new laptop and make it work that way.

edit: the only thing that has worked is deleting the library and recreating it.  I have 16 libraries..this is just frustrating.

Shut down the old server, zip the entire emby-server directory, unzip at new location then install emby server.

Hi, please attach the emby server log. Thanks.

That is exactly what I ended up doing, but I still had to delete the library and recreate it with explicit network paths as the mapped drives refused to work.

If the mapped drives aren't working in windows, they won't work in emby server either.
