Problems creating library

Just started setting up a Synology DS218 NAS

I'm having an issue setting up libraries in Emby. I've installed emby server on the Synology and created some folders on volume 1.

The data I want to add to emby is in /volume1/Media/Documentaries

However, If I open emby server, when I try to add a library this occurs:

If I click on 'Folders' to add a folder from the synergy, I can navigate to /volume1 where I can see the 'Media' subdirectories. If I click on  'media', the directory box in emby just goes blank.

If I manually add the folder location: /volume1/Media/Documentaries I get the message 'The path could not be found'.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? The folders have read/write access.
