Autoplay home videos?

Hi all,
I have recently set up an Emby library and have some files sorted in 'home videos' libraries so that the system does not try to attach metadata. What I have found though is that it does not autoplay to the next episode. I have them all sorted alphabetically and would like to go from A to B for example, but after finishing the episode it brings me straight back to the menu view of the episode. I do have play next episode automatically selected, and it works fine for TV shows, movies, etc.

Alternatively if there is a way to turn off metadata fetching for TV shows in one library that would also be helpful! Cheers

Agree, this has been requested before, but it hasn't exactly gotten a huge endorsement from the dev team.

Hi, if you hit play all on the folder, or play the video using "play all from here" then it will do that.

Hey @Luke thanks for your response. I was just overseas until late last night so didn't have the chance to test this on my TV. I can see now that this works on Android mobile but doesn't appear to be an option on LG TV?

Hi, we just need a way to launch the context menu because that's where it is.

@Luke Can you please fix the issue that I mentioned above? If there's a photo after a video it crashes with a "no compatible streams" error.

Hello,

I'm just having the same problem - I have a library with home videos and photos and what I like to do is turn on auto play for the entire folder. When I start the slideshow on a picture it only works for pictures. If the next file is video it only displays a static thumbnail of the video instead of playing it (there is button to start playing the video but it's not played automatically). When I start the autoplay on the video file (play from here) then it continues playing next file as long as it is video. If the next file is photo then an error is displayed and the autoplay stops.

What I'd like to have is seamless autoplay of all the content of a selected folder (or from a specific photo/video within this folder) regardless of whether it is a photo or a video - a next photo is displayed and next video starts playing automatically and the same happens with the next item until the last item is displayed. Is this behavior possible?

@LukeAre you going to get it working like described above in the current beta? At the moment, the beta doesn't work that way. A video can be played, but as soon as the video is done the entire slide show stops no matter if the next item is a video or photo. Can you fix this in the current beta so the next item plays?
