Emby NAS addon on home assistant OS

Hi im running emby server on my raspberry pi 4

Its an addon for home assistant OS

 

I've been running the server as docker on unraid machine (different machine) before without troubles.

Now running the server as addon on pi, i'm having issues...

- movie collection isnt loading in the webui... i'm wondering if this is cause of the pi/addon or cause of the next problem:

- in the collection im pointing to 2 folders but on different machines... this is new for me. before i pointed on the unraid machine to a folder on unraid.

Now on the pi , i'm pointing to the unraid folder and a folder on the pi itself.

IF the unraid machine is down, will the webui still work? will it show the stuff thats online, and/or offline?

Hi, when the unRAID machine is shut down, you may see stalls in the emby user interface if it is trying to access images from the media directories.

With stalls u mean, empyt covers?

It still should show those right?

Theres no possibility to store the images at the emby server side?

I'm seeing 2 possibilities

Sometimes i see empty covers, sometimes i dont see anything at all

Is the pi strong enough to run it?

@Luke possible to look at my logs

Maybe theres an issue (rights) in contacting the server

Log of today showing nothing of media(although pointed to server)  embyserver.txt

 

Then 2 days ago i saw empty covers but wouldnt load

Edit: I dont know but shouldnt i have to enter a login and password normally so it can read from the unraid server? I didnt had to do that on the server running on the pi

Now i try again and after long waiting i do see movies and some covers not all

Actually now, almost everything does..
