Metadata Continues to Revert to Incorrect Series

I am trying to import the show Mobile Suit Gundam into Emby, however the metadata continues to recognize it as Mobile Suit Gundam the movie, and no matter what I do it continues to only show one episode as a "special" and none of the rest of the episodes for season 1. i have tried identifying it using the correct id's on imdb, thetvdb, and themoviedb and it still doesnt work. i even tried manually editing the info so that the season would have the correct id and would say season 1 but it still would only show one episode.

What is the library content type and folder structure and naming scheme?

it is a tv show, its structures so that the show is a folder with the name "mobile suit gundam 0079" in the folder "tv shows". inside the show folder, is the folder "season 1" and inside that is all the episodes. the episodes are named "mobile suit gundam 0079 - #" with # being each of the episode numbers

nevermind i have solved the issue. i renamed the mkv files so that it no longer has the "0079" in it
